A parenting class open to anyone with children ages 0-18. Focus will be on the heart of God and digging into your own heart to reach that of your children. Special issues will also be addressed: childhood depression, AD/HD, behavioral problems. Facilitator: Psychologist, Dr. Veola Vazquez.

God Image:
- The distant parent/God
- The angry (or abusive) parent/God
- The unreliable parent/God
- The busy, preoccupied parent/God
- The powerless parent/God
- The loving, just parent/God
Guidelines for Setting Limits:
- Make good rules
- Give good consequences
- Show love in the process

Dear Parents,
We hope you’re having a great week and wanted to keep you up to date on what we’ll be teaching on Wednesday nights the next month. We’ll be starting a series on Wednesday, February 3rd called “The Naked Truth: God’s Thoughts on Sex.” PLEASE encourage your son/daughter to be here for this crucial topic. Here is the breakdown of what we’ll cover:
February 3 – Who invented sex, anyway?
February 10 – What about homosexuality?
February 17 – How far is too far?
February 24 – What if I’ve messed up?
All of these weeks will be great nights for students to bring a friend, but we’ll making a big push for students to bring friends on the 24th when we’ll tackle forgiveness and grace. Our goal for this entire series is to help students see what the Bible says about sex. We’ll do this in an honest, fun, and loving way. As always, if you have any questions about what we’ll be teaching feel free to contact us in the office. We’ll be teaching the same messages in jr. high and high school, but tweaking them to fit the different audiences.
Thank you for entrusting your student with us. It’s a responsibility we don’t take lightly and we have a blast working with them.

Packing/Loading Night is in the parking lot on Friday, April 2nd at around 8pm (right after Good Friday Service)
