We got to Pt. Loma around 4:30 or so yesterday afternoon. Got everyone settled in the dorms and had dinner. Then there was a FANTASTIC opener complete with dancing robots, lasers, smoke, and bubbles. Yeah, you kinda had to be there.
I headed back home last night so I can go to a doctor’s appointment with Nicole this week. I’m planning on heading back Wednesday morning to catch the last couple days of camp. Ben will be posting photos and updates here.
The Hub – Worship Night

Just got back from an amazing worship night in The Loft. I should have taken some pictures, but didn’t. So sorry. We spent time singing together, praying together, praying alone, journaling, etc. Lots of cool stuff. Keep your eyes out for the next one.
On another note, I accidentally ended up without car keys and had to hitch a ride home with Emily Phaneuf’s dad. Yeah, I’m pretty smart.
Summer Camp Update

If you’re going to camp with us, we had hoped to get info packets with the fun detailed information out in the mail today, but something came up that delayed that. So, the packets will be mailed on Monday instead. Watch your mailbox!
If you haven’t signed up and would still like to go, we do still have some space. I’ve talked with some students already who are interested in the spots, but let me know if you’d like in and we’ll see what we can do.

Senior Night Out date change

You’ll be getting a postcard in the mail with this, but wanted to give you a heads-up that we’re bumping up the date of Senior Night Out to Saturday, May 31st (4pm-10pm). Don’t forget to turn in your card with all your grad stuff this coming Sunday, May 25th. Shoot me an email if you have any questions.
Errny Awards

Well, the Errnys have now come and gone. We had an amazing time Sunday night! The Mag Room was transformed into a sweet center for an awards ceremony. Congratulations to the Gansereits’ Bible Study group for taking home the Best Picture Errny for their “Christ Chex” video. The Errnys were up to a whole different level this year. Wait until you see next year’s!
Join us Sunday for either Mag101 or 201. Mag101 is our process for church membership. You’ll learn what our church and student ministry is all about. Mag201 focuses in on spiritual growth. You’ll get an overview of four spiritual habits that will help you grow on your own.
