Jr. High Photo Scavenger Hunt

We’re having a scavenger hunt!  It’s all happening on Friday, October 7th from 6pm-9pm.  We’re meeting on the Main Street Mall downtown (at Mission Inn Ave.).   Cost is $5 and we’ll finish the night with dinner (at 8pm….you might want to have a little snack before you come).  Once we meet up we’re dividing into groups of 4-6 students with at least one adult leader in each group.  Then it’s off to take some crazy photos and be the first to finish the list!  Sign up either in The Refinery on Sundays or in The Loft on Wednesdays.  2011 Medical Release is required to participate.

Man vs. Wild 2011

This years Man vs. Wild was a blast!  The guys enjoyed hiking up Mt. San Jacinto! This year we had six Jr. High guys venture out on the journey.  It was awesome to see how amazing God’s creation was and the change he made in our lives.  We spent a lot of time looking into what God has to say about us being men of God; how that runs opposite to what culture presents to us today.  Continue to pray that God will shape these JH boys into men of God.  In case you have not seen the facebook page, go check it out and see all of the pictures…here are a few.

Break out those ugly Christmas sweaters and pour some eggnog, ’cause tomorrow are the JH and HS Christmas Parties! We will be starting at 6pm in your respective rooms (JH – B203, HS – the Loft) and ending the night at 9pm, so make sure your parents pick you up then so you do not miss out on any of the fun!  There will be a smorgasbord of food provided, be sure to bring $5 to cover.  Did I mention that there will be tons of games, gingerbread house making contest (HS), videos, white elephant gift exchange (JH) and just general Christmas merriment?!  So drop on over at Mag for a great time celebrating the birth of our Savior, what else do you have to do anyway?
